Known as the “bloodsucking” insects, fleas and ticks are small, wingless external parasites that feed on people, domesticated animals, and wildlife. Yikes! Who wants some blood guzzling insect attaching onto your body, only to leave an irritated bite that itches like crazy? Whether it is coming from your dog, cat, or something unknown, fleas and ticks are not welcomed. Adult fleas are characterized with a flat, spiny body, and powerful legs for jumping.

The Cat Flea (ctenocephalides felis) is the most common flea in Southern California. Fleas lay their eggs and populate themselves mainly off of domestic animals. However, they also scavenge on organic debris in the general vicinity of their host. These areas include carpets, rugs, mats, bedding, couches, and other alike places.

Flea Treatment
Fleas are categorized as one of the common general pests that invade Southern California. We treat flea problems with a general bug spray, usually consisting of the chemical Perethrin, Tempo SC Ultra, and Malathion 50. We treat the inside, outside, and garage areas. You must stay out of the property 2-3 hrs. after the bug spray has been completed. Our guarantee is good for 30 days.In the summer months, a Follow-Up Spray is recommended due to the increased population of fleas in the higher temperature months.
